HomeVision Snapshot, Annual and Plus inspection plans
HomeVision Annual is for ongoing homeownership and maintenance awareness. HomeVision Annual includes two visual Snapshot inspections per 12-month period, typically scheduled in spring and fall. HomeVision Plus includes three visual Snapshot inspections per 12-month period.
Visits assess readily visible and accessible conditions at the time of inspection, including observations of the roof, exterior, drainage, plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling, attic, crawlspace and interior where accessible. Written reports document observations, limitations and uninspected items.
HomeVision Plus includes three visits per 12-month period with enhanced photograph-heavy reports. Drone roof imagery is included with HomeVision Plus. Drone imagery will not be available if the home is located in a flight-restricted area.
HomeVision Annual is $680 per year for homes up to 2,000 sq ft and $880 per year for 2,001–4,000 sq ft. HomeVision Plus is $840 and $1,140 per year respectively, or $280 and $380 per visit. These prices save 20% compared with three HomeVision Snapshot visits: $210 and $285 per year respectively. Homes over 4,000 sq ft require a quote. HomeVision Snapshot inspections are also available for homes that are not for sale and are not part of a real estate transaction. Each includes a written report in accordance with NCHILB Standards of Practice.
Memberships are billed annually and renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. Cancel anytime to stop future renewals, with remaining visits available through the paid period. Once the first included inspection is completed, that period’s fee is non-refundable. Review the membership terms before enrolling.
Scope and limitations
Inspections assess readily visible and accessible conditions at the time of the inspection. They are visual and non-invasive; limitations and uninspected items are documented in the written report. An inspection does not guarantee that every defect will be found or establish code compliance, future performance, or remaining service life.
Wood-Destroying Insect (WDI) inspections, septic inspections and well-water quality testing may be performed by a third-party inspection company arranged through PeakPoint Inspections.
